My name is Richard Blair Caldwell- the owner of RBC Logistics LLC. At age 52, I decided to pursue a childhood dream of getting into Over-The-Road Trucking by starting a single truck operation based out of Vacaville.
I obtained my CDL and started my business after a thirteen years hospitality career, having never been in a big rig.
To actualize this vision, I put myself through truck driving school and bought my first truck in early 2020 during Covid. I attained my CDL in August 2020 and briefly went to work for Schneider then leased with a carrier from Connecticut.
At my one-year mark, I finalized my DOT numbers and obtained my authority.
